Prevent Values from Being Updated During a TurboCloud Synchronization

Item Editor

If you revise the following values in the Item Editor, you will receive a prompt asking you if you want to exclude the changes that you made from reverting back to the cloud values during a TurboCloud synchronization.

  • Description
  • Job Phase
  • Catalog Description
  • Labor Unit
  • Manufacturer
  • Quantity Take-Off Text
  • UPC #
  • Catalog #
  • Package Quantity

If you click the Yes button, the checkbox in the Other Options tab of the Item Editor will be unchecked. If any of the checkboxes are unchecked, the associated value will not be updated during a TurboCloud synchronization.

TurboCloud Database Synchronization Screen

If there are certain values you don't wish to update during a TurboCloud refresh, simply uncheck the checkbox for that category on the "Cloud Database Synchronization" window that appears before running a TurboCloud refresh. Clicking the "Click here to verify settings" link will give you further customization options in the event that you want some of the values in that category to be updated, but not all of them.

Update Local Items and Update Local Assemblies (Click here to verify settings)

These screens will display all of the items/assemblies that have different values in the Cloud versus the values in your local database. If you do not want to update any of these values, simply uncheck the checkbox.

Synchronize Local Item & Local Assembly Folders (Click here to verify settings)

If there are certain folders that you do not want to be updated, uncheck the folder's checkbox.
