If you receive a message saying your TurboBid database is compressed and can't be opened, this is just a result of your computer trying to save space by compressing your TurboBid database and is a very easy fix. The following steps should fix this issue:


  • Open up your Windows File Explorer
  • Go to the Documents Folder
  • Highlight and then right click on the “TurboBid 4.0” folder
  • Select “Properties”
  • Click the “Advanced” button in the “General” tab.
  • Uncheck the checkbox next to “Compress contents to save disk space”
  • Click “OK”
  • Click “Apply”
